Maori BJJ Nationals 2014

The Maori Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Nationals are a celebration of Maori Wrestling to reinvigorate the traditional sport of rongomaumau & whātōtō that existed in New Zealand pre-European history.
To maintain the integrity of this competition & to encourage pride in each competitors heritage, all competitors are required to research & submit their personal Whakapapa.
They will also be required to submit there BJJ rank & BJJ Whakapapa to a legitimate Black Belt.
