The Whātōtō (Māori Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Nationals) are a celebration of Māori Wrestling to reinvigorate the traditional sport of Whātōtō and Rongomamau that existed in Aotearoa (New Zealand) pre-European history.

This year in the 100th Centenary of the ANZAC's the Whātōtō (Māori BJJ Nationals) 2015 is dedicated to the memory of our tupuna Nga Tama Toa o Te Hokowhitu a Tu na, Māori Pioneer Battalion WWI and the 28 Māori Battalion WWII.
