It's Never Too Late to Start BJJ:

Discover Auckland BJJ's Beginner-Friendly Approach!

As the new year unfolds, many of us are looking for ways to kickstart our fitness journey, learn a new skill, or simply make new friends. If you're on the lookout for an activity that combines all these aspects, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) might just be the perfect fit for you. And the good news? It's never too late to start, especially with Auckland BJJ's welcoming approach to beginners and practitioners of all levels.

Beginner-Friendly Classes Twice a Week

Understanding that stepping into the world of martial arts can be daunting for newcomers, Auckland BJJ has tailored specific beginners classes two days a week. These sessions are designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of BJJ in a supportive and non-intimidating environment. It's a fantastic opportunity to learn at your own pace, build confidence, and lay a solid foundation before diving into more advanced techniques.

Classes for All Levels

Auckland BJJ prides itself on fostering an inclusive community where everyone, from beginners to seasoned grapplers, can grow and learn together. Beyond the beginners' classes, all other sessions are suitable for all levels. This means you can continue to challenge yourself and progress in your BJJ journey, surrounded by a supportive community that encourages learning and improvement at every step.

Affordable Training Options

We believe that learning BJJ should be accessible to everyone, which is why we offer great value at just $40 a week. This allows you to attend any and all classes that fit your schedule and goals, without breaking the bank. It's an investment in your health, skillset, and social life that truly pays off.

Flexible Class Schedule

Our class schedule is designed to accommodate busy lifestyles, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to train, regardless of their daily commitments. From Monday to Thursday, we offer a 1-hour technique class from 6-7pm, followed by an all-level sparring class from 7-8pm. This structure allows you to either focus on learning new techniques or put what you've learned into practice through sparring – or both!

Fridays are reserved for a combined technique and sparring class from 6:30 to 8pm, offering a comprehensive BJJ experience to wrap up your week.

Open Mat Saturdays

Saturdays at Auckland BJJ are something special. From 10am-12pm, we host an open mat session with no formal teaching. It's an excellent time for self-directed practice, drilling techniques, or engaging in light sparring with fellow students. Additionally, it's a golden opportunity to ask Stu or Serge any individual questions you may have. Think of it as a private class without the additional cost, where you can seek personalized advice and tips to improve your game.
